Weekends-Only on Southwest

On Thursday, Southwest Airlines extended their schedule through October and in the process added four new weekend-only routes.

Taking advantage of the new terminal at Kansas City International Airport, Southwest will offer seasonal international service on Saturdays starting 7 October 2023 to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and to Los Cabos, serving San José del Cabo, México. Effective the same date, Southwest will also offer Saturday and Sunday non-stops from Long Beach to Boise and Portland.

The announcement coincided with the start of non-stop service between Kansas City and Long Beach.
