Dana Air Grounded

Dana Air (9J), a domestic airline in Nigeria based at Lagos (Murtala Muhammed International Airport), grounded its fights on 4 June 2012 after suspension of its operating license, one day after the crash of flight 992 from Abuja (Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport) to Lagos.

Dana Air began operations on 10 November 2008 with flights between Lagos and Abuja. In addition to that route, the airline's route map shows flights between those airports and both Port Harcourt and Uyo though on 23 December 2011 the airline added flights to Calabar (Margaret Ekpo International Airport) and may also have served several other airports in Nigeria during its brief career.
